TLC's
Trinity Living Centers, or TLC's, are located near Trinity's main campus. Three 16 person residential programs enable adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their greatest potential. TLC staff provide assistance in achieving greater independence in all aspects of life, including social, recreational, personal care, and daily living skills. An outcome-oriented approach is used in planning for services so each individual's personal priorities are the focus of services and support. As an alternative to institutional living, the homes are constructed so that each person has his/her own bedroom and storage space. Each individual and his/her family choose personal goals, and needed services are identified, including nursing services when appropriate. Typically, several staff members are available during the day and evening hours to work with individuals in needed areas and to provide support for recreational activities, as well as overnight staff.
