Services for Children

Trinity offers a number of supports and services for children who have intellectual / developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, ADHD and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Compassionate, professional services are provided through the following Trinity programs:

Trinity School
Children attend Trinity School because serious cognitive delays and problem behaviors prevent them from thriving in their local public schools. Trinity provides the students with an appropriate environment to build vital skills and decrease behaviors such as aggression, destruction of property and self-injury. Learn more here.

Illinois Centers for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders
Founded in 2011 by Trinity Services, the Illinois Centers for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (ICFASD) provide services to persons affected by FASD, including: diagnostic evaluations; QEEG-guided neurofeedback therapy; skills achievement groups for three age groups; therapy; consultation for parents, siblings, schools and professionals; seminars and training sessions; and, advocacy services. The ICFASD works in cooperation with community-based, public sector, education, health care and mental health organizations. Learn more here.
